AR (Accounts Receivable) and AP (Accounts Payable) Aging Reports help you track unpaid invoices and bills by how long they've been overdue. It’s a simple way to get ahead of cash flow issues and prioritize follow-ups.
What is AR/AP?
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Money owed to your business by customers.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Money your business owes to vendors or suppliers.
These reports show you what’s outstanding and how long it’s been sitting.
How to Access Aging Reports
- Head to my.digits.com and log in.
- From the left-hand menu, select Financials.
- Click on AR Aging or AP Aging to open the relevant report
- Scroll down to the Detail section at the bottom of the report.
- Click Collapse to expand or hide the detailed view.
- In the expanded view, you can click any invoice or bill to open the full document.
- You can also download the report using the Download button in the top-right corner.
Note: AR/AP Aging Reports are only available for legal entities that started tracking bills after a specific "cutover" date. This date is different for each entity and can be found in the Settings page. If your data includes bills from before that date, the reports might not show up yet—but don't worry, we're working on adding older data soon.
What Data Appears in My Aging Reports?
We want to give you the most complete picture of your aging activity. Your reports will automatically include all bills and invoices created in Digits Pay and Invoicing, as well as anything coming in through a Digits Connector like Ramp.
Need to add something manually? Just use Digits Bill Pay or Invoicing to enter any outstanding bills or invoices that aren’t coming in through a connected platform, they’ll show up in your reports right away.
If you’ve already paid a bill or invoice outside of Digits, no problem. Use the Mark as Paid feature to close it out and keep your aging report up to date.
