If something is updated in a connected system, will Digits overwrite what’s already in place?

Yes. Digits syncs with your connected systems using their unique transaction IDs. This ensures we don’t create duplicates and that any updates made in the source system are reflected in Digits.

For example: If a transaction is edited in a tool like Stripe, the next sync will update that transaction in Digits—as long as the system flags it as updated.

Note: Some platforms don’t always expose backdated changes. In those cases, Digits might not detect the update automatically.
