Understanding the Time Saved Button

Digits doesn’t just streamline your workflows—it also tracks how much time it’s saving you across all your clients.

From any client view, look for the Time Saved button in the header on the home dashboard. It gives you a running total of hours saved thanks to automation.

View Time Saved by Month

  1. Click the Time Saved button.
  2. See total hours saved for the selected clients
  3. Use the date switcher at the top of the modal to view other months.
  4. Digits calculates time saved using benchmarks based on average manual effort.


What’s Counted in Time Saved?

Digits breaks down time saved by the work of its AI Agents:

  • Payments Agent: Scanned and processed bills
  • Bookkeeping Agent: All transactions lines grouped by Category
    Note: If you click on “Other Categories” this will take you to the Digits Ledger
  • Finance Agent: Updated financial statements
  • Reporting Agent: Ran and delivered scheduled reports


Click on any agent to jump to that section in your client’s Digits account and view the completed work.

Use this view to quantify value for your clients—or show your team how automation is scaling your work.
