Linking your BILL account to Digits gives you a secure, direct connection that pulls in your bills, invoices, and payments automatically. No more manual entry—Digits keeps everything synced and accurate behind the scenes.
How to Connect to BILL
- Head to my.digits.com and login.
- Click Connections in the left-hand menu.
- In the All Connections tab, locate BILL.
- Click Connect.
- Log into your BILL account to generate a Sync Token.
FAQ: What is a Sync token? A Sync Token is a name and password pair used only for syncing BILL with other platforms—it can’t be used to log into your BILL or Digits account.
Here’s how to generate a Sync Token:
- In BILL, go to Settings > Sync & Integrations > Tokens.
- Click New.
Enter a Name for the Token. Click Save.
Copy the Token Name & Token Password. (⚠️⚠️⚠️Save both before leaving the page—they’re only shown once!)
Enter Token Name and Token Password in Digits.
Click Connect.
Once connected, Digits will begin syncing data automatically.
⚠️ Already created a Sync Token before? BILL will only show you the Token Name—not the password (see screenshot below for example). To get a new Token Password, you’ll need to create a new Sync Token (see step 1).
What Happens After I connect?
Digits will:
- Import your full transaction history from BILL
- Automatically sync new bills, invoices, and payments
- Use ✨ Digits AI to categorize and tag transaction
- Keep everything updated with frequent syncs
Note: Import time may vary based on data volume and BILL account activity.
