To protect your clients and support secure, compliant use of Digits, we require business verification before enabling Bill Pay or Invoicing on any individual client account.
Why do we do this? Verifying your client’s business helps us meet regulatory standards, prevent fraud, and ensure payments and invoicing work as expected—no surprises or delays.
Digits won’t process payments until verification is complete. You can still enter bills or invoices for your client in the meantime—nothing will be lost.
Good news: This is a one-time setup per client. Once submitted and approved, their account is fully activated—and any bills or invoices already added will process and schedule automatically. No need to re-enter anything.
How to Complete Client Verification
1. Open the Client’s Dashboard
Click into Bill Pay or Invoicing. The first time either is used, you’ll see a prompt to verify the client’s business.
2. Provide the Required Information
You'll need to enter:
- Business entity type and tax ID
- Details for any beneficial owners (owning 25%+) or controlling individuals (like a CEO)
Owner contact info: name, address, phone, and SSN
3. Click Submit
Hit Confirm & Submit, and we’ll take it from there.
4. Review & Unlock
Once verified, payments and invoicing will begin processing for that client. If we need more details, we’ll follow up by email.
