This document is for users who have both personal and business accounts with Chase and outlines the process for linking only their Chase business accounts to Digits.
Part 1: Modify Account Sharing on Chase
To ensure only your business accounts are shared with Digits, follow these steps on the Chase website:
- Log into chase.com
- Go to the Security & Privacy tab
- In the Linked Apps & Websites section, find Digits via Plaid
- Click Edit Sharing.
- Select only the accounts you want to share
- Click I Agree to save changes
Note: Chase—via Plaid—only allows account access changes to be made directly on the Chase website. Even if you remove and reconnect your Chase account in Digits, your previously shared accounts will still appear unless you update your sharing settings at chase.com. This is the only way to deselect accounts from your Plaid connection.
Part 2: Disconnect the Chase Connection in Digits
Once these steps have been completed, you can log into your Digits Dashboard and remove your Chase Connection following the steps below.
Remove the Existing Chase Connection on Digits
- Login to Digits.
- From your firms dashboard, click on the client you need to modify.
- Click Connections from the left navigation menu.
- Click Manage next to your Chase connection.
- Click on Archive.
- Click on Delete.
3: Add the Chase Connection Again
Now reconnect Chase in Digits:
- Go back to Connections
- Click Add Connection
- Follow the prompts through Plaid
- You'll only see the Chase accounts you've approved for sharing
