Customer Management

Welcome to the new Customers Tab! This tab gives you clear visibility into your customer base, revenue trends, and lets you easily analyze customer activity. Here’s a quick walkthrough of the features and how to use them.

The Customers Tab allows you to:

  • View a list of all your customers
  • Track Total Customer Count
  • See Total Revenue from Customers
  • Monitor New Customers
  • Identify Customers with Transactions in Multiple Categories
  • Filter, and Edit Customer Information

Key Metrics Displayed

  • Total Customer Count: Shows how many unique customers you currently have.
  • Total Revenue: A quick snapshot of money earned from your customers.
  • New Customers: Instantly see the number of customers acquired in your selected period.
  • Multiple-Category Customers: View customers posted to multiple categories to quickly identify and resolve classification errors

Customer List

The customer dashboard displays a list of all your customers, including:

  • Customer Name
  • Total Spend
  • Number of transactions
  • A table of all transactions for that customer in the current period
  • Exporting transactions based on your customer.

Filters & Search

Effortlessly narrow down the list to analyze specific groups using filters:

  • By Customer Name: Search for a specific customer.
  • By Total Spend: Filter customers by their total spend in the current period.
  • By Customer Review:
    • New Customers
    • Multiple Categories (customers with transactions in more than one category)

Transaction Filters

  • Category: Filter by transaction category (e.g., Food, Services).
  • Transaction Amount: Analyze customers based on transaction size.

Editing in the Customers Tab

Clicking the pencil icon above “Total Customers” will enter "edit mode," allowing you to make both individual and bulk edits on transactions. Please note that there are some restrictions when making edits. In this tab, you only have the ability to make edits to the party and category.

Fast Tips

  • Use the combination of filters for custom reports (e.g., find new customers who spent over $500 on Services).
  • Click any column header in the customer list to sort transactions or click on the sort button above “Total Customers” next to the edit/view buttons to sort customers.
