We’re all about making Digits the safest place for everyone to manage their business's finances, and that’s why we request a bit more info about your business when you start using Digits Bill Pay and Invoicing.
Verifying the details of our customers and their respective businesses helps us meet the strictest compliance requirements and ensures we stop fraud in its tracks. Plus, this process guarantees that our tools are used correctly and effectively.
We won't process any payments until we are able to verify your business.
You can continue to enter bills or invoices into the system but the final payments will not be completed until all info is collected.
Don’t worry — once we have everything we need, all previously set up and submitted items will be paid and scheduled as expected! Verify your business on Digits
- When you first navigate to either the Bill pay, or Invoicing tab and start to use the features – you will be prompted with a pop-up modal that asks you to verify your business.
Please note - we will only ask you to do this once! So when you start using the other features, you'll be fully unblocked as your business will have been verified previously2. Simply follow the prompts and add the requested information – which includes details about the business entity type, tax information, and ownership/control details.
To identify a Beneficial Owner, we look at two things: who runs the business and who owns a big part of it. In terms of control, it’s the person with major decision-making power, like the CEO. For ownership, it's anyone owning 25% or more of the company. At this stage we will require some details regarding any Beneficial owner such as phone number, address, social, etc/
3. Once you've input all the necessary information and reviewed it – click confirm and submit!
4. Once submitted, the Digits team will review your details. If everything looks good - all your bills and invoices will be unblocked from moving forward in the process. If we need any more information, we will reach out via email!
