Welcome to Digits! Your Digits home dashboard is your command center. It puts real-time financial insights and metrics right at your fingertips—no spreadsheets or finance degree required. Instantly see cash flow, revenue, runway, and more, all in one place. (You will land on the Home dashboard when signing in, but you can also click home from the left nav.)
Customizing Your Dashboard
Make your dashboard your own. Add what matters, remove what doesn’t, and arrange everything just how you like it.
- Head to my.digits.com and login. (You will land on the Home Dashboard when signing in, but you can also click Home from the left nav.)
- Click Edit in the top-right corner to enter edit mode.
- To add a component, just drag and drop any metric from the right Edit Dashboard area.
- Metrics: Common KPIs like cash flow, runway, burn, and more.
- Statements: Pull in your P&L, Balance Sheet, & Cash Flow Statement.
- Lists: See Top Vendors, Expense Categories, and other key groupings.
- Headcount: (Gusto users only): View total headcount for the selected time period.
- Custom: Add custom text tiles or manual KPIs for info that isn’t tracked automatically.
- Search: Look up specific vendors, accounts, categories, or metrics. Just type and drag.
- To remove any component, just click the X on the right side.
- Rearranging is easy—just drag tiles around until it looks right.
- Click Done when you're happy with your setup.
Changing the Date Range
- On the Home tab, click the period selector in the top left.
- Choose your timeframe: month, quarter, year, or use preset ranges.
- Click Set. Your dashboard will update instantly.
Sharing Your Dashboard
Note: Inviting a user gives them full access to Digits, so make sure you're inviting trusted collaborators.
Want to share what you see?
- Go to the Home tab.
- Click Invite User in the top-right corner.
- Fill out their name and email, and customize the message.
- Click Invite User to send access.
Pro Tips:
- Not sure where to start? Start with cash flow, runway, and profit metrics. These give you a quick sense of how your business is doing.
- What’s “runway”? It tells you how many months your current cash could last, based on average expenses.
