# Manage Your Entities

An entity is a single business in your organization. Your organization can hold one business or many, and the **Manage Entities** screen gives you an overview of them all—see the team members assigned to each business and jump into a business's settings.

***

### How Do I Open Manage Entities?

From your **Organization Dashboard**, click **Manage Entities** in the left navigation.

You'll see a list of your businesses on the left and a detailed view on the right. You can type to search or filter the list by **Plan Type** or by **Assigned Team Members** to quickly find the business you're looking for.

<summary>How do I change who can access a business?</summary>

You can manage access from either page, depending on what you're doing:

* **From Manage Entities** (best for one business): select the business, then use the role picker next to each team member to set their role or choose **No Access** to remove them from that business.
* **From Manage Team** (best for one person): select the team member and set their access for each business. See [Manage Your Team](/for-clients/manage-your-team.md)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.digits.com/for-clients/manage-your-entities.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
