Linking Only Business Accounts with Chase on Digits
This document is for clients who have both personal and business accounts with Chase and outlines the process for linking only their Chase business accounts to Digits.
Before You Connect: Use the Owner Login
If your client uses Chase for both business and personal banking, or has multiple Chase accounts, it's essential to log in using the business owner's credentials during the Digits → Plaid connection flow.
Why this matters:
Only the owner login can choose which specific accounts to share with Digits.
If an admin or other user starts the connection, the account selection screen may not appear, and all accounts under that Chase login can be shared with Digits.
This is enforced by both Plaid’s flow and Chase’s security settings.
If the wrong accounts keep showing up, log out of Chase completely or open the connection in an iTry logging out of Chase completely or opening the connection flow in an incognito window. This can help clear cached login sessions that might default to the wrong user.

This is the only way to remove personal accounts from your Plaid connection.
